Meet Molly.
Hi! I’m a registered psychologist living in rural NSW on Wiradjuri & Wailwan country.
I understand the importance of a safe and meaningful therapeutic relationship when seeking support, and finding a therapist that’s your cup of tea. My priority is providing authentic and compassionate services to my clients, delivered in a way that suits them.
I am a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi) and the Australian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA). I pride myself on continuously developing my professional skills to maintain an excellent standard of care.
My main area of interest is working with neurodivergent clients for both therapy and assessments. I especially enjoy conducting assessments to identify high-masking and internalised presentations of autism and ADHD or those who have been previously missed by the health system.
My Approach
One size does not fit all when it comes to well-being.
That’s why I work with you to understand your concerns, establish goals, and make changes to work towards your best life.
I value your perspective as the expert in your own life and work collaboratively with you every step of the way. I combine my clinical skills, professional background, and lived experience so that you can feel supported and understood.
I pride myself on providing neurodiversity-affirming and open-minded care to people from all backgrounds, cultures, identities, and experiences. Cup of Tea Psychology is a space for you to feel seen, heard, and respected without judgment, no matter who you are.
My therapeutic work involves modalities like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic therapy, Schema therapy, and Narrative therapy. I personalise the strategies and techniques I use for each client and adapt them to suit your individual needs.
When conducting assessments, I use a broad range of tools to obtain a high level of information in an affirming way. I aim to use the most neurodivergent-affirming and high-quality tools available, and constantly evaluate my processes to ensure that I am providing the best service possible.
A Bit About Me
I grew up on Dharawal country in Sydney, then moved to the central west after completing my bachelor’s degree at the University of New South Wales. I began working in the out-of-home care space as a caseworker and went on to complete my Honours at Charles Sturt University, earning me a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) with First Class Honours.
I completed my provisional psychology internship at a private practice in Dubbo, where I gained valuable experience working with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and presentations. After gaining my registration as a psychologist I began working part-time as a school psychologist in addition to my private practice work.
Outside of psychology, my special interests are the ocean and all its creatures, as well as all animals. I love travelling to swim, snorkel, and scuba dive! At home, you’ll find me out in the veggie garden, baking, doing puzzles, or cuddling animals. I’m lucky enough to share my life with a bunch of cats, chickens, and goats that bring me a whole lot of joy.
